Tervoniq develops custom cut-and-sew leggings for activewear brands, apparel importers, wholesalers, distributors, retail programs and private-label buyers. A project can begin with an existing style, tech pack, drawing, measurement chart, specification sheet or physical reference sample.
Development may cover sports leggings, pocket leggings, legging shorts, maternity leggings, fleece-lined leggings and PU or faux leather stretch leggings. Tech Pack and Style Review
A clear specification reduces unnecessary sample revisions. Buyers should provide the front and back design, measurements, fabric composition, GSM if known, color references, waistband details, inseam, gusset, pocket dimensions, seam requirements and logo placement.
If a complete tech pack is unavailable, we can begin with clear drawings, product photographs or a reference garment. We then identify which details can follow an existing pattern and which require new development. Complex structures, special materials or multiple color combinations may affect the sample cost, MOQ and development time.
Fabric and Construction Confirmation
Fabric selection should match the leggings’ intended use. Common options include nylon/spandex, polyester/spandex, cotton/spandex blends, brushed or fleece-lined fabrics and PU/faux leather stretch constructions. GSM, stretch, recovery, opacity, hand feel and surface finish are reviewed before the sample is produced.
Our fabric and material selection process helps buyers compare available and custom-developed material options. Custom dyeing normally requires Pantone confirmation and may have a higher minimum quantity than available stock colors.
Construction details include waistband height, front and back rise, inseam, pocket position, gusset and seam type. These points are recorded before cutting and sewing so the sample can be measured against an agreed reference.
Size, Color and Branding Details
Buyers may provide their own size chart or request modifications based on an existing style. Waist, hip, rise, total length, inseam and other key measurements should include agreed tolerances. Requirements for maternity panels, side pockets or different waistband structures need to be confirmed separately.
Pantone colors, logo method, logo size and placement are reviewed together with the fabric. Heat-transfer, silicone and embroidery options depend on the material, artwork and required stretch. More details are available under color and size customization.
Sample Making and Revision
Available samples are generally prepared in around 3–5 days. Modified or private-label samples normally require approximately 7–12 days, while deeper custom developments may take around 10–15 days. Timing depends on fabric sourcing, pattern changes, garment construction and branding.
The first sample is checked for measurements, fit, waistband stability, seam formation, pocket construction, stretch, recovery, appearance and logo position. Buyer comments should identify each required change clearly so the revised specification and sample remain aligned.
Pre-Production Approval
Before bulk production, the buyer should approve the fabric, color, measurements, construction, logo, labels and packaging. The approved sample and specification then become the references used during the sample development and bulk inspection process.
Selected existing programs typically start around 300–500 pieces per style and color. Customized or private-label programs commonly start around 500–1,000 pieces, while special fabrics or custom dyeing may require 1,000 pieces or more.
Standard bulk production is usually around 25–35 days after sample and order approval. Complex construction, custom-dyed fabric or special packaging may extend production to approximately 35–45 days.
